You're work is beautiful
Hi Karen Tate. I just saw your website from facebook and I'm pretty blown away by your work. You take pictures of things in ways Ive never thought of, and make me want to go look at them again. I look forward to seeing more and more!

Your pics are really great
I just wanted to add myself to your list of admirers. I've seen tons of amazing photos, and yours ranks right up there with them. Theres something different about a lot of yours and I can't quite put my finger on it, but it's very very "good different". I hope to see more. And please update your blog! You keep saying you will! lol (I do read it and learn tons from it. You teach with real words and don't "dummy it down". It's like your talking directly to me and it helps me learn from you better. thank you!

Howard, thank you! Your kind words humble me. There are so many wonderful and talented photographers, and I learn something from each and every one, and I never stop trying to learn more. I'm also lucky to have had opportunities to share my own visions and viewpoints. Together, we all (including you and yours) see the world through our own eyes uniquely. We all bring something different to the table, so to speak, and that's a beautiful thing. As for my blog - I consider myself duly and rightfully chastised for being so far behind, and I will do my best to make up for it very, very soon. :) Best, Karen

Hi Karen. This is Brenda from CVS yesterday, at the pharmacy counter. I just looked at your website and I'm speechless. I thought I knew what a good photograph was until I saw all of yours! You're really really good! Thanks for your cards. I gave one to my daughter and hopefully she'll be in touch soon. Thanks again for your helpful tips! I'll never be as good as you but at least my pics wont stink any more. At least not as bad!

Hi Karen. Thanks for accepting my friend request on facebook! I just looked at your website and am awe-struck by how your photos stand out from the herd. Something about them, I don't know what. Most of them look different than anything I've seen. A new perspective, so beautiful. A different way of seeing things. Your website is named perfectly - Through Karens Eyes! I'm a huge fan! You do GREAT work!!
My daughter is taking photography courses in college, and when I requested you as a facebook friend (and thanks for accepting!), I showed her your site and she was wowed, as I was. If we lived near you, believe me, we'd both want you to tutor us! Your refreshing points of view make me see my surroundings differently now, and appreciate them more. Thanks to you, my bank account is a bit lighter - I bought my daughter and me a Nikon D90 to share, and we're already fighting over it because we both only had a point and shoot until now. Thanks, and I'll send you the bill!!
